Other than word-of-mouth by your current group members, you can grow your Facebook group through…
1. Your other social media platforms. “Be part of a supportive community of introverted business owners and creatives just like you. Join my free private Facebook Group Trailmaking Introverts”
2. Your personal Facebook profile.
3. On your Facebook page – provide a link in a post and then pin that post to the top, or use it as your “Call to Action” button on your page (the one right under the cover photo)
4. Other people’s Facebook groups during promo day. Check the Facebook groups’ rules to see if posting groups is allowed. Here’s a spreadsheet to keep track of the promotion days in Facebook Groups.
5. On your website. Many websites have buttons for social media displayed on their website, include one for your Facebook group.
6. In your newsletter. Write it in the body of the newsletter, inviting people to join. Or, include it in the newsletter’s signature.
7. On the Thank You page when someone opts in to your newsletter.
8. In your email signature.
