A 4-week community workshop to get you seen by your next customers

Sorry! But this workshop is over and not taking new applicants 🙁

This workshop is all about making some big changes to your confidence, but implemented in small, incremental steps so it feels less scary and more doable.

But I’m not going to just tell you to expand your comfort zone without supporting you. Each week you’ll hop on an hour-long video call with 5 of your fellow introverts. We’ll be talking about how to make the assignments feel more fun and less frightening.

I’ll also be sharing strategies I’ve implemented over my 10 years of using social media for business that makes being visible feel less intimidating.

And, you’ll have an opportunity to get coaching on the negative self-talk and fear you may have so that each assignment feels easier.

During the last half of our calls you do the actual assignment. No more excuses!

How it works

Each week you’ll have an assignment that we’ll complete together during our weekly call. Because this community workshop is all about practicing and growing, but in easy steps, you’ll be posting that week’s assignment 3 separate times over the course of the week.

We start off small with selfies.

First, you’ll be posting your selfie in our private Facebook group (no more than 6 other participants). Then, you’ll be increasing your visibility a little. You’ll be posting the same selfies in the Facebook group Trailmaking Introverts (500 friendly and supportive fellow introverts). Then, you’ll be posting on one your own public social media account (Facebook page, Instagram, etc).

Our 60 minute calls take place each Monday for 4 weeks.

Starts November 6th, 3pm EDT (changing to EST the day before, fyi)

Here’s a rundown of what we’ll be working on each week:
Week 1: Selfies
Week 2: A one minute recorded video
Week 3: A five minute recorded video
Week 4: A Facebook Live!

Yes, these may feel like big steps, but we’ll be in the company of other people who are also striving for more customers and more visibility.

Why are we focusing on video?

Because it establishes what’s known as the the Know, Like, and Trust Factor. All things being equal, people would rather buy from someone they know and like than from a stranger. Video is the perfect way to show people that you are real and trustworthy.

Plus, Facebook shows Facebook Lives to more of your followers than any other type of post you may put on your Facebook page. Why? Because video is what people want to see. They want to see you and interact with you in real time.

And getting comfortable with this doesn’t have to be some far off dream. You can start to make real progress now. And you can do it with the support of your fellow introverts.

The accountability of the mastermind framework led me to do things I might otherwise have avoided doing, including conducting client interviews, using new technology and recording a video for my target market.

I find Thea very easy to work with — she is genuinely interested in helping me to be successful, and she asks challenging questions that help me to overcome my mental obstacles.

I was once where you are

I used to hate taking selfies. My first video took so long to mentally and physically prepare for that I didn’t do a second one for months. Live video seemed intimidating. And when I did finally start doing them, my voice would shake.

But now I take selfies for Facebook and Instagram when I want to share what I’m doing with my followers. And I do a Facebook Live each Tuesday. Many people have told e they enjoy seeing my videos because I seem real.

Who this class is for

This class is for people who are ready to put their business above their fears of being seen.

Who is this not for

This is not for someone who needs convincing that video is important to today’s marketing. I’ve found that for us introverts, in order to do something scary, like live video, we need to want to.

This community workshop is also not for someone who can’t be supportive of other introverts who are stretching their comfort zone to build their business.
